The first step of deciding dinner is always the hardest:  What should I eat?  But even after you've determined that, the second step isn't necessarily easy:  What should I eat with it? Or, in this case, what should I spread on it?
But, first step first:  What should I eat?  Well, a few nights ago, I had finally found the answer to that first question: a burger.  Not just any burger, but a mango tofu burger from my Mom's A Dash of Aloha cookbook.  Now, on to the second question.  I knew that I wanted it on bread (Rudi's seven grain with flax to be exact), and I knew that I was too lazy to cut up any tomato, onion, etc.  So, I was down to the spread.  Ketchup is an obvious choice, but everyone uses ketchup.  Mayonnaise (or miso mayo) crossed my mind as I usually like it with veggie burgers, but I didn't really feel like mayo at that point in time. Instead, I settled with something I've never put on a burger before - one of my true loves, pesto!!!!!!

From now on, there shall be no more dilemmas in my household when it comes to "the second question."

The daily question: What's your favorite burger (or "burger" spread)?
As of two days ago, mine is pesto ;)

Black bean burgers are definitely at the top of my veggie burger list - soooo good :)

Homemade burger is more beneficent than burger that we buy from outside. So we should try to make this burger at home to enjoy it well and we can see it is very easy to make.

This is the very first time I've heard about Mango Tofu Burger. That sounds enticing, isn't it? By the way, I've been to the very same situation you've been. I have to admit, it's quite hard dealing with! There are also moments in my daily life wherein I don't feel eating mayonnaise. For some reason, I find its taste real weird. But at the same time, I love seeing it on my burger at some point! This is a bizarre situation for the both of us!
